Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and enrich the lives of youth &  families in our community. We strive to do this through various programs and resources in three areas…Education, Health Awareness and the Community.

Education

The Harris House  promotes the value of education and provide experiences that will positively impact individuals in our distinct service areas.

Health Awareness/Advocacy

The Harris House  helps to provide opportunities/ access to health education and other health-related resources.

Community Services

The Harris House  serves as an entity to support the identified communities with opportunities to increase pride, advocacy and promote the continuous well-being and growth of those individuals within it.

Our Founders

The Harris House derived from a desire of Lakeithrick and Marjorie Harris to give back to the communities that gave so much to them! The Harris House's mission is to empower and enrich the lives of youth, families and the overall community. We strive to do this through various services, programs and resources in three distinct areas: Education/Scholarship, Health Awareness/Advocacy and the Community.
