Dr. Anderson is a native of Albany, GA. He completed his undergraduate work at Tennessee State University with a degree in Biology with concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He then furthered his education earning a Master’s Degree in biology at Middle Tennessee State University and Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Anderson has worked as a hospitalist within the Indiana University Health System since 2013. Having attended an underserved high school, Dr. Anderson understands the plight and obstacles these students face, not only in the academic arena, but in their daily lives. As a student, Dr. Anderson has always engaged in community service and has admired those professionals who orchestrated such events. Being influenced by such experiences, Dr. Anderson feels it is now his obligation to impart his knowledge and resources to the upcoming generation, as well as give back to the community that has afforded him such vast opportunities. In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys grilling, exercising, and attending sporting events.
